We celebrated Mother Earth today by getting down and dirty. The KC Timber Challenge is a 2 mile long family friendly obstacle course that our family, along with 3 friends and their families, courageously tackled. Along the way, we climbed up a super tall tower and over a school bus; ran through a foam pit and a noodle forest; scaled a bunch of muddy walls; and ran through the forest with reckless abandon…We even encountered a Sasquatch! We wrapped the morning tired and covered in mud but with memories that will endure.
Reflecting on the way home, Evie made a pledge to help the Earth.
The top 3 things Evie will do for our Earth:
- Throw bottles away (recycle)
- Save energy
- Use bikes instead of cars
